Our all-electric vehicle won various well-known awards
Bucher Municipal has gathered customer needs over the past few years and incorporated them into the development of the Bucher CityCat V20 series. Not only driving comfort, suction performance and connectivity, but also sustainability have been improved in the Bucher CityCat V20 series. With all the optimizations, the new 2m3 vehicle series was launched in June 2020. The efforts have paid off, as the two electric vehicles have been honored with various awards.
German Innovation Award 2024
We proudly announce that we have received the "Winner" award at the German Innovation Award 2024 for our novel Advanced Driver Assistance Systems - SafeSweep & PathFollow, in the category “Excellence in Business to Consumer: E-Mobility”. The "Winner" award recognizes innovations that drive the industry forward through their originality, implementation, and effectiveness.

Red Dot Award 2021
With great pleasure we announce that we have won the Red Dot Design Award: Product Design 2021 for the Bucher CityCat V20e. But not only that, we were also awarded in the meta category "Innovative Product". The jury says: "The CityCat V20e captivates as an ergonomic workstation with an intuitive operating concept. Its modular construction also meets high standards with regard to functionality."
German Design Award 2021
The design of the electrically-powered street-sweeping vehicles has convinced the jury in the category of «Excellent Product Design» with its formally and functionally reflection of the claim to sustainability, advanced technology, functionality and user-friendliness.

iF DESIGN AWARD 2021
We are pleased to announce that we are winner of the iF DESIGN AWARD 2021! The CityCat V20e and CityCat VS20e won over the 98-member jury, made up of independent experts from all over the world, with its high functionality and user-friendliness. But also due to the advanced technology that subjects minimal footprint to the environment. The simple and timeless appearance reflects the durability of Bucher compact sweepers. The competition was intense: almost 10’000 entries were submitted from 52 countries in hopes of receiving the seal of quality.

We proudly announce that we have won the German Innovation Award 2021 with our two all-electric sweepers Bucher CityCat V20e and CityCat VS20e in the category “Excellence in Business to Consumer”.
The German Innovation Award honours products and solutions across sectors, which differ from previous solutions mainly by being user-centred and offering added value. The "Winner" award stands for innovations that advance the industry through their originality, implementation and effectiveness.
