The story of Zynkon

Wuhan Xinguang Special Purpose Vehicle Manufacturing Company (more commonly known as Zynkon) was founded in 1970 and was until 2008 a central manufacturer in China's municipal special equipment industry, specialising in the research and development, production, sales and technical services of special municipal vehicles. 

However, it was not until 2008 that Zynkon became the brand. From 1970-2008, Zynkon was known under the name Xin Guang Machinery Factory, a state-owned manufacturer of various municipal special vehicles. In 2008, the name was changed to Zynkon and the organisation was restructured to specialsing in research and development of equipment for the underground drainage network maintenance. In years to come, Zynkon became a leading supplier of underground cleaning and inspection solutions for both municipalities and private contractors. 

Through partnerships with both European and North American partners, Zynkon successfully launched a combination sewer cleaning vehicle in 2012. The piece of equipment became a success in China and was quickly added to the fleet of several cities and municipalities. The customers soon came to realise the benefits of the unique construction, ultra-high vacuum, super dredging capacity, and ultra-low operating costs. 

Today, Zynkon manufacturer a range of special purpose vehicles covering nearly 30 varieties in 5 series, including high-pressure cleaning vehicles, suction vehicles, combination vehicles, pipeline inspection vehicles, and emergency vehicles.
In 2019, Zynkon became a part of Bucher Municipal and the groups' cleaning and clearing operations.
