Less breakdowns = more operational time. You can also become an expert in this field. Alongside our units, we offer three types of training: Operator Training, Train the Trainer and Cast Courses.

Operator Training

As part of any new purchase, Bucher includes a one-day course designed to teach you best practice in all aspects of that particular Bucher Municipal Sweeper. Not only does this teach the granular details of using the sweeper, but also what to look out for with common errors or faults, all helping you to keep on the road and effectively carry out your job. This course is conducted at the customer premises, using the customer’s specific sweepers so you can learn right at home.

Train the Trainer

This one-day course is suitable for personnel who have a minimum of 3 years' experience, and who have previously undertaken Bucher training courses on our range of sweepers. Following successful completion of intensive training, you will be awarded a certificate (valid for 3 years) and are qualified to train other sweeper operators within your organisation. This is great for clients who own and operate large fleets, ensuring the expertise and knowledge are correctly disseminated across your organisation.

Certificated Application-Specific Training (Cast)

The Bucher Certificated Application-Specific Training (CAST) Course is usually conducted at your work premises, using your own sweepers. The CAST Course trains up to a maximum of 4 experienced operators each day - (two trainees in the morning and two trainees in the afternoon). Your choice of four specific topics will be covered, in-depth during the training sessions. On completion, the certificate awarded to each successful candidate will itemise the four topics specifically selected, ensuring you have experts in every area required.

• Driving Techniques: Kerb mounting
• Nozzle: Height setting, reverse lift function and “Powathrust”
• Front Brushes: Positioning, adjusting and changing
• Maintenance regimes / daily and weekly procedures
